Carhartt's Sherpa lining is 70% acrylic and 30% polyester in a 7-ounce pile lining. The jacket itself is 12 ounces, made of 100% cotton sandstone duck, micro-sanded and garment-washed for a soft finish. The Sherpa lining is in the body and the hood. The sleeves have a quilted nylon lining. Other features include a left chest zipper pocket, two front welt pockets, inside welt pocket, inside patch pocket, rib-knit storm cuffs inside the sleeves, a bi-swing back, triple-stitched main seams, and a work fit design for better range of motion.
