Carhartt's flame-resistant clothing meets ASTM F1506, NFPA-70E and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 standards. These 13-ounce overalls are made of INDURA® Ultra Soft® duck, which is a blend of 88% cotton (focused toward the skin) and 12% high-tenacity nylon (focused on the outer area). The 10-ounce lining is Moda-Quilt®: flame-resistant Modacrylic batting quilted to INDURA® Utlra Soft® twill face cloth. The overalls have a high back with FR elastic suspenders and high-temperature nylon center-release buckles. There are FR melamine buttons at the waist, a hammer loop, multiple tool and utility pockets, a chap-style double front for durability and increased thermal performance, and a brass fly zipper with Nomex® zipper tape. The zip to mid-thigh brass leg zippers with Nomex® zipper tape have a protective flap and arc-resistant snap closure. HRC 4 and ATPV 50.4.
